The universe is defined by natural law. God is supernatural. He is outside time and space. That is why He is so powerful. He can not be constrained because He would have to be constrained by some other "thing".

Picture a circle. O It has no beginning or end. So it is with God. Any more than that is a mystery... but one thing for sure. The universe had a beginning. It could not have come out of nothing. God said let there be light and Bang it happened.

Many state that if the Big Bang were true, then it is in direct conflict with the Bible's six day account in Genesis. Yet in Hebrew, "day" means "yom", which has been translated to mean a specific period of time and not to be confused with a solar day. Christian tradition also agree's with this concept, as pointed out by the first century writers; Philo and Josephus. Other writers include: Augustine, second century apologist and martyr; Irenaeus, third century apologist; Origen, fourth century bishop of Caesarea; Basil, thirteenth century; Thomas Aquinas. In the twentieth century, this position was held by C.T. Scofield, A.H. Strong, and Gleason Archer.

There are also scripture references that gives a general sense of a time consuming process; including ages:

Psalm 104
Proverbs 8:22-31
Ecclesiastes 3:11a
Micah 6:3
Habakkuk 3:6

Genesis was not written specifically about when and how the universe was created, but who created it! Psalms 111:2 states "Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them!"

It would be deceptive of God's character to create a universe that would appear to be billions of years old and yet be only six solar days. Starlight can only travel so fast. For the span of the universe to be thirty billion light years across; the universe must be pretty old! This suggestion does not necessarily mean that the biblical concept of Genesis would agree with Darwin's evolutionary dogmas either. However, science and the Bible agree that planets and other animals were created first and that man and mammals were created last.

No one needs to create god, because god is not made of any matter. God is the supernatural power that is not affected by time or place.

Time and place was created when the universe was created, so it makes no sense to ask what was before the big bang, or who created god.

Also, i believe that god started everything, but he doesn't interfere with our life, and that's what Albert Einstein believe.

Your question makes no sense. If God created everything, why does that mean that something created God? If God did not create the universe and everything, where did it come from?

For atheists, they believe in the evolution of man (ape).
But Christians and many other relgions, they believe that that God created us because he is a supernatural being. They believe that he didn't get created, noone created him. That he was there all the time. God is powerful because he is the one who created everything, you'd have to be very powerful to do that.

God is the creator, not the created. He IS.
Johnny- We 'Christians' do not make excuses about our religion, we refer to the Bible. What do you refer to? Your experiences in the years you have been here on earth? For us 'Christians', all those questions about the meaning of life, how or why we were created, or what the future has to hold, are already answered for us. We know where we came from, and where we are going, and we know that great things are to come! What do you believe? Why? Can you prove any of your beliefs? :)

Human beings created God so they could explain things they otherwise cannot explain.

It was pretty much an exercise in mental laziness, and it continues on today, alive and well. That should tell us something about how far we have progressed intellectually.

great question. christians wil lalways use whats called "special pleading" heres how their idiotic claim works.

everything in the universe was created, everything was created by him, complexity implies creation (meaning that its too complex to be created naturally).

thats their claim...the funny thing is is that god ,assuming he exists, is far more complex than man....if complexity implies creation then logically god must have bee ncreated. this is where the christians use "special pleading" theyre pleading (saying oir claiming) that god doesent need to have a creator and that he always existed...its kinda like saying that everyone must abide by the rules except the one who made the rules. it makes no sense.

so there you have it. theyre trying to removetheir god from beign attacked so they say he doesent apply to the rule. logically god must apply to the rules...so god must have a creator...and so must that creator..and that creator..and all the way up...

I have asked this question many of times and the answer I got "He created himself" I don't really know how that is. Maybe he had no beginning at all and that is why no one can explain how he came to be.

Why do we first have to beleive that there is a single conciousness that organized and created all of this???
space is chaotic. chemical reactions spawn weird things on all points of a spherical spectrum.
maybe this microscopic molecule that we call a universe, is actually part of a multiverse that is just part of some weird spacial reaction, almost like a ball of mold that nobody even knows is growing here....

and the chicken came first,,, in having to adapt to their surroundings, mutations in their evolving DNA produced a shell around their embryos ( DUH! )

This is a question that can NEVER be answered and understood by a human because we are humans. We do not have the capacity to understand anything eternal because there is a beginning and ending to every aspect of our existance.
