this guy i knew lets call him Anthony..okay Anthony was my exboyfriend..he told me hes friends with this girl..and he told me he cared about her and liked her..for some reason he was attracted to her..why do guys like younger girls? what can a younger girl have to offer him? hes 19..i am 20..and the girl he likes i think she's 17..but what can she give him that i cant? i have more to offer then a 17/18year old teenager still in highschool..and why is it that a guy can say hes not ready for a relationship? like he is confused..one day he wants to be with me..then friday he says he doesnt want to be with me..whats up with that?! can somebody help me understand..what is it?

Your ex-bf's problem has nothing to do with age. He wants to "have his cake and eat it too". (I hate that cliche). I agree with phattphatt. This guy is unstable and needs to be kicked to the curb. If he keeps this crap up she will do the same and he will have lost you both. I'm not so sure what the age problem is, she is only a year younger. Your first statement made it sound like he a was dating a child and he was in his thirtys. Give him the boot and find yourself a real man.

You could probably be friends with Buffy, if you would just meet her. He is an unstable boy who may make a good man when he groes up, but right now he sure does not want you, or he would not be looking. You are being unrealistic, Dump this boy, Don't look for a new boy, concetrate on studies and church, and work, Grow up. You are way too young to waste time on jelousy over two children---- let Love find you..

This does not relate to age. It may be he is genuinely interested in the other girl. You try to explain your feelings if doesn't work, there is some one better waiting for you

because emotionally a teenage girl and a twenty year old guy are on the same level. you're too mature for him.
