I see it as a religion of those who don't believe in a supreme being. Since religion is a belief in something then same goes for them.

You are correct, Atheism is a belief and like all beliefs, it exists only in the imagination of the believer. The only sound position for any thinking person to adopt is skepticism also referred to as agnosticism. The existence of a god can not be proved or disproved.

Well first of all Faith is to put trust into something that you cannot see. And you cannot put trust in nothing right? That makes no sense. Secondly, there is no such thing as an Atheist because "Atheist's" could be making a God out of an inanimate object (like money, televisions, idols, etc.) or even themselves.

Atheism is not a religion because it doesn't worship God or Jesus or anything. Atheist believe in real life which is here, in Earth and don't think about after death or afterlife.

Atheism is considered an irreligion or non-religion. when one speaks of religions, it is generally about a belief in the supernatural and the divine. Atheists do not believe in these and so atheism is not considered a religion.

i believe that atheism is more like a belief, not a religion.A religion, as defined by the dictionary is "Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe." So atheism is not a religion, but is better defined as a belief.

It takes just as much faith to believe there is not a God as it does to believe in God. Actually it takes more faith to be an atheist.

Atheism is a statement of faith, a belief - so, yes, it's a religion.
In fact, the only religion whose believers will never be able to say,"I told you so!"

I think it is also a religion,
When we follow a religion we believe it and we try to reason out things and also try to disprove others beliefs.
So by this logic atheists also do the same thing
1. they belive - that there is not god
2. they believe - that evolution is what created this Human race and also they believe BIG BANG
3. They reson out - that all creationist theories are wrong
4. they try to prove - that all God's are not real
so dont you think they are following a religion called "ATHEISM"

It takes as much faith to assume the existence of a god as it does to assume the non-existence of same.
The main conclusion that can be drawn from the observable world is that nature is stunningly indifferent to our concerns.
