He heard voices , he had delutions of grandure and he was a loner. He thought he had special powers and he talked about "his" kingdom. Maybe we have all been killing each other over a nut bars 2,000 year old delusion after all his own people didn't believe him and noone was interested in him except a small group of misfits living in a cult until the Roman Empire made it the state religion by incorperating it with the existing one. Wow if that were true then maybe Ezekiel who describes a space ship in Ezk 1 was just a nut bar too and maybe when Daniel had his dream of a big statue it too was from a lack of anti depresents?

the rumour of his riseing was just that. Who saw it - cult members who couldn't get the details straight about what they saw. Read the definition of a schizophrenic and then reread the new testament. The guy was a nut and a threatening one who was paranoid - why did he hide the meaning of the very simple parables? Mathew say he hid them because he didn't want some people in the crowd to get the meaning - this guy needed meds not worship

The thing to answer is how Daniel predicted Alexander the Great and his generals, the fall of the temple in Jerusalem when its rebuilding from the first destruction had not even been planned yet, how Isaiah predicted so many details about Jesus and also that He would be God and man simultaneously (IS.9:6). Also, how do we just toss out the witness testimony of more that 500 people who saw Jesus alive after he died? Much less evidence than that is called upon to support giant chunks of history that have never been contested. Also don't forget that Jesus Himself completed (or detailed) Daniel's own prophesies and just as Jesus said, that temple fell in the Apostle's lifetimes -- and just as Daniel said, that man of evil sat down in the holy place and declared himself God. The Bible is actually pretty creepy when you take the parts that are absolutely dated and then lay them aside the now past history that we know about after the fact, but that the prophets predicted long ahead of time. It's almost as if it was written by men inspired by God to know things no man could ever know.
As far as Christians killing each other and many others too, you cannot judge God based upon things other people do. If a person commits suicide because you didn't love them the way they wanted to be loved, does that say that you were false or that they were the nut bar?
Elijah was the one who needed the anti depressants, he and Gideon too. Daniel seems to have been a pretty well rounded personality.

Jesus fulfilled all (well over 200) key prophesies in the old testament, many of which were written more than a thousand years before he walked the earth. Nobody else could have done that. Since he rose from the dead around 2,000 years ago, generations of the world's greatest scholars have dedicated their lives to documenting every important detail of his life and times. No one else in human history could possibly be mistaken for the Jew born in Bethlehem, who forever transformed mankind and the modern world, in more ways than you could count. You seem to have a grasp of some of the facts, but you need help putting them in the proper framework. To address some of your other comments specifically, Jesus did have special powers. His miracles were witnessed by thousands. The old testament referred specifically to a Messiah who would do certain miracles. Jesus accomplished all of them. The "misfit cultists" you mention were amazingly effective in getting the entire Roman Empire, the same Roman Empire that crucified Jesus, their leader, to follow him. Most sensible people would see the hand of God working in a conversion that big! Shortly afterward, the Roman Empire was destroyed and broken apart ... an event which surprisingly resulted, not in the destruction of the church, but in world-wide expansion of the Catholic church, making it the first true, world religion. Only God can accomplish such things. Regarding your Ezekiel reference: What he saw was God's throne materializing in our present sphere of existence. All the descriptions and supernatural phenomena reported there match up very closely with the scores of other times that God, in one form or another, decided to pay us a personal visit, here on earth. It's all documented in the Bible. If you're really serious about the comments you made, I challenge you to take the time and make the effort to learn the truth. It's available. I've discovered it. So can you. For prompt, complete, accurate and free answers to your questions about God via email, go to www.AskMeAboutGod.Org

That's what you think only. He was the son of god who came to die for our sins. For your info, Lots of people had believed in him even before the romans made it the state religion. Also, what Ezekiel described cannot be a space ship. How can a space ship be made of so many different materials which becomes weaker as it gets lower? How can it survive a trip to outer space? Please repent and accept Jesus as your personal saviour. Don't sin anymore.

Christ was God incarnate on Earth. He was the most integrated human ever to walk this mortal coil. He wrote nothing, had a 3 year ministry, and yet his life and teachings changed millions of people's lives. Read the Gospel of John. It's all there, no schizophrenia.

Well Jesus, like other prophets had to say something to convince the people to believe in the God he created... I know he wasn't the original creator of God, he just considered himself his Son, but still he had a religion o found. ANd just because he said lies it doesn't mean he was schizophrenic

"Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will." 2 Timothy 2:25
