I was thinking if it is a good idea to get another male in October.I've heared it is not ok to have 2 male canaries in a cage.So i'll have him in a different cage but in the kitchen too.
What do you think?

It is a very good idea, two male canaries( because they are the singers), in two different cages, separated
when one thing the other will answer and vice versa, you have to put them near, but too near
My grandmohter use to have two canaries in that way, the use to sing all day¡¡¡.

Negative. This will cause both canaries to sing less. One canary hearing the other male will believe it has invaded the others territory and will become less likely to sing.

I think it will be okay as long as your canary is singing show tunes! That means he is gay!

I think anything ANYTHING in a cage is awful, but if you must,
yes, at least he'll have a cellmate.
