Is it a good job of mixing the two pictures? And is that a girl or a guy?

It is very good, and a good blend of images. It is a guy.. The eyebrows and the eyes straight away look predominately male.
It looks to me like a young long haired boy. Peering out at the desolate mysterious scenery reflecting back in the window from which he looks somewhat tragically trapped and sad.

It is a guy - the mixing is good but the change is too sudden - it would have looked better with a little more overlap of the tree picture on the face - also the transition from the dark at the top to the lighter face is too stark - could have been more gradual - but the overall concept and execution is great.

Looks like the German "electro-medieval" band founded in 1991 by Michael Popp, Ernst Horn, and later the vocalist Syrah (aka Sigrid Hausen). It has roots in Estampie, a band of similar genre but different style; Michael Popp and Syrah are the principal members. Horn left the group in 1999, to concentrate on his other band, Deine Lakaien. He later formed Helium Vola in 2001.

That's definitely a male.
As far as combining the pictures. It's a simple procedure of importing the image and dropping the opacity of the top layer. A 5yr old could do it. So, yeh it's a good job. But I wouldn't brag about it.

Not a bad job at blending... Look at the right side thought there is something missing. It is too straight. Most people are saying it is a guy, but I think that it is a woman. If it is your keep working, they are nice.

I think it is a guy. I like the background layer but the "person" needs further editing to bring it home.
