Alot of people deiscriminate against me becuase i dont have a religon. They tell me to go to hell because i dont believe in god. Christans try to change your beliefs and nag at you. People that i have been friends with that have found out that i dont belive in god ditch me and tell my that i worship the devil and that im going to hell. What do i tell these people what do i do?

As a Baha'i, I believe in the individual search for truth. This means people are going to come to their own conclusion, their own interpretation.
Sometimes that'll mean a new Baha'i.
Sometime that'll mean someone won't belief in God.
That's alright. As long as that is their belief and not something someone told them they had to belief.

Yea, offer you a bible or debate the issue with you if you're willing (note: debate, not argue), but to shun you? That's horrifing to me and it is wrong!

Actually I think you spend your life looking for confrontation because you're lonely. It's the only "passionate" interaction that you get. I could care less how you feel about God ... I know quite a few atheists and agnostics ... they don't seem to share your problem. Maybe it's just you.

be firm and know that u are not alone. u can try to explain ur beliefs to them but i don't think it's necessary and they won't listen anyway. the friends who ditched u were never ur real friends in the first place, so be happy that they are now out of ur life. they are not the kind of people who will come through for u. don't be afraid to state what u believe or don't believe because that will bring u satisfaction and true happiness as u'll know at the end that u have always been true to urself.

If you are in a bible-thumper community, move away to a more enlightened part of the world as soon as it is feasible to do so.

I have been through similar situations. The only thing you can do is tell them that you have free will. That you have the freedom to choose how you feel about God. They are not true friends if they treat you that way. Try to find some friends who respect you. I know it's hard, but stand your ground. You have every right to believe what you want.
