really depends on the school, but my bias is YES - it's a great idea. I am currently an MBA student at a good US program, and would've been skeptical about HR before coming to school. Basically, here's my logic
-HR, despite its critical role in biz generally lacks 'credibility' - an MBA focused on this will give you strategic logic, analysis, and reputation to manage this.
-There really is some amazing "strategic logic" involved in building HR programs (i never thought so, but now believe it) therefore the courses will truly provide foundations which will guide you through tough tough situations....
