my dear your question is one of the oldest, since men were men and women were women. we are so different one from the other that you can never know for sure what they think. but you can try to understand each other. listen and listen all the time to what they say, that's the only possible way of ever getting it almost right. you can't relate to men the way you can to women, because we want almost the same things in the end. even with some other women it's hard to do that so you can imagine how hard it is to relate to men. be patient and try to understand why they do some things. they must have a point. I'm not telling you to be as good as a psychologist but try to be open to a wide range of behavior and i remind you patience. with the passing of the year you will have more experience in reading people. some people can do that from the first coherent thought some need to practice. good luck with any relationship you will ever have.

Aren't all people complicated? Isn't life itself complicated? Surely, in any relationship, any interaction, complications arise because of our own expectations. It needn't be between sexes either. Father and son, mother and daughter, friends, relatives. There are so many different complexities between people as a whole. As we interact with one another we cause complications.Issues arise. Expectations are altered.
As a male, I am sorry you feel that men are complicated. I'm sorry that so many men find women complicated. Personally, I find just about everyone I meet complicated.

It sounds like a similar experience I've had. Sometimes, I think men act like jackasses to feel superior or smarter. I've had guys actually try to make me feel stupid, I'm not sure if they were even aware of it. Other guys are just so out of touch, maybe they are intimidated???

remember this is a girl saying this. Men really aren't that complicated. WE are. Women are multifaseted like jewel, men are like a window. Its Food, sex, entertainment, and bed. thats it. They usually are saying exsactly what they mean and we think it means something totaly different. Women are usually the only ones that use double meanings for things. Men need a big sign to tell them what you want, women need to be showed my example not words.

Women overcomplicate things, as shazzam said earlier, we only need about 5 things to be happy. Women overcomplicate things by bringing sub-motives and mind games into the fray. We're simple beings (I'll readily admit). We think women are too complicated.
