no its not true but when you put mentos in a bottle of diet coke (the correct amoutn is 4 mentos to 2 litres of coke) its causes a chemical reaction and the carbon dioxide rapidly bubbles up shooting the coke outta the bottle
you will not blow up but u may or may not get diet coke sprayed outta u
you might wanna try wiht the mentos in ur mouth first to see wut its like
