I tried all the suggestions, and nothing works. In Add/Remove programs, the system responds for other programs but for the Yahoo tool bar the system does not respond!

Click start>Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs>Yahoo Toolbar> Ok

I don't understand why ad/remove programs does not do it, but try search in Start and search for the toolbar. Delete all parts of it there.

Simple ! In IE goto Tools menu ->Manage Add ons...->Disable yahoo toolbar !

right click on your toolbars and select or deselect the ones you want to rid yourself of or keep

from Explorer, choose VIEW, Toolbars, then uncheck the one you don't want

Reinstall yahoo toolbar, and then uninstall it...
