Start with the wives in your spouse's unit, try MWR and some other volunteer organizations, like the ACS Kitchen and Pantry, the Red Cross equivalent, check out the internet, search out the URL's, although this could be tedious. I don't know what else to add, since I don't know what you are specifically looking for, in terms of your personal interests. However, I have never been on a base that didn't have a strong support system, especially in wartime. Good luck, I hope that's enough to get you thinking.

www.cinchouse.com is a great one. The women there are a great support system and are very helpful when it comes to a lot of things. It is also a place to vent/receive information about the military.
