I think a lot of Americans are confused about the whole immigration thing, and I think our government is not helping. A lot of Americans forget that their ancestors came from a different country too, and a lot of them are scared the "white race" will someday disappear. Some day there will not be a "color", but unfortunately it won't happen anytime soon. Even the illegals pay taxes, most people don't know that, and I think the Mexican race is beautiful, and I'm sure the majority of people think the same thing. Don't listen to haters, keep your head up, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY (as Christina would say it)!!

Make a difference in you life time. Start a group that helps the Gov find the illegals of any race and you will become a Hero. Set back and wine about every day wont change a thing. Take a stand and do something for your country and your people.

You are a citizen. Do you practice good citizenship? Are you employed and productive? Do you speak standard English (at least for business)? Stick around, we could use you, as we are a little short on folks like that of any color!
It is unfortunate that the racist element gets heard too often in the Immigration debate. It is also unfortunate that an element of the Hispanic and Latino population provide them with ammunition at times. Well spoken complaints against what other groups see as a refusal to assimilate, at least in public, is not racism. When it just gets down to skin color, it is.

Stop whining. You have it a lot better than the Native Americans who were here long before you and you don't hear them complaining. You are a citizen and have as much right to be here as anyone else born here no matter what you look like. It's unfortunate that you have been discriminated against, but whining will just make it worse.

I know I didn't tell you that - why judge us all by the racist comments of a few? Ignore small minds. If you are an American citizen, hold your head up and be proud and know that Americans come in all hues and colours and all are beautiful and all Americans deserve to be in the USA equally. In this forum, it is not immigrants that people are talking against, but we want illegal immigration stopped and illegal immigrants deported, regardless of what colour their skin is because immigrants and illegal immigrants come in all hues and colours, also. That doesn't include you, obviously, because you are an American citizen. Don't be so sensitive and ignore the ignorant people because you know you are better than that.

You do need to go back to Mexico. Be proud of your native country and take your education back over the boarder and change Mexican political policies to the point that Americans are trying to sneak over to Mexico and not the other way around.

There are politicians who are stirring up prejudices to divide the people and turn us against each other. It is unfortunate that there are prejudiced people out there who fall for it. Don't let these ignorant people get you down. We must stick together. We are all just trying to make an honest living and get by and provide for our families. We will all do better if we stick together and have respect for one another and don't let politicians divide us for their own political purposes. If you were born here no one has a right to tell you to go back to Mexico. Our President and Mexico's president have their hands in each others pockets. The President of Mexico loves it when his poor cross the border and use our social services. Then he doesn't have to deal with them or fix the problems of poverty in Mexico. Our President loves it when the poor of Mexico come the the U.S. because they provide cheap labor to his corporate and agri-business buddies. I would never begrudge anyone trying to provide for their families or make a better life for themselves. I think it is unfortunate that some people in Mexico have to leave their country and families just to keep out of poverty and provide for their families. I also think it is unfortunate that illegal aliens put a strain on our social services. There are many Americans who cannot afford health care, let alone insurance. Too many people go to emergency rooms of hospitals for health care and it is bankrupting our hospitals. We are all in this together. We must all, together, put pressure on our political leaders on both sides of the border to eliminate poverty and stop trying to create a slave class out of working people. I wish you the best.

You sound like you have the brown complex.
Most of us aren't talking to you, you are legal. We have a problem with the ones who are sucking up everything that they don't pay in to. If you were born here, do you consider yourself American or Mexican? Your loyalty should be to the U.S.

they tell you this because they dont want you to know the truth.
the truth is that if you are brown you are native american.
the anglos that tell you this have no shame
they still call our land theirs.
so they will try to make you feel bad so that you are submisive to them but you need to study so you can defend yourself and stand up to them they are the ones who came over here to our country in boats to steal , kill and plunder our homes . they are the invaders , the squatters , they want us to forget about the facts and the crimes their ancesters did. they still benifit from what they did so they are still to blame for what their ancesters did to ours. thats why they try to flip the blame on us but dont let them do that. my family has been here since before their was such a thing called the u.s.

I think you have a chip on your shoulder and are ultra-sensitive.
If you're an American citizen, no one should be telling you to leave if you don't want to.
Those people are being rude and abusive. Just ignore idiots like that.
