I wanted to know if all guys go by appearances. I am smart and fun but since I was diagnosed with psychogenic seizures at the age of 10, I have been on a medicene that not only treats my illness but also makes me gain weight.
My doctor and I have tried millions of meds and this is the only one that seems to work for me. My question is, how likely are you to date an overweight person, even if she is smart and fun?

too bad it does. many of us men are very shallow. i my self dont like women that are too big but i have met some that have cought my intrest.

Keep in mind this is just how i feel, no one has to agree with me*smile* Well in response to your question, I feel that if people are too shallow to get to know you for whom you are then those are not the right people you should surround yourself with. I feel that people today try so hard to look good for someone else. Especially women...well I'm not going to take up too much space, I'll just leave it with this. You know what type of person you are, and hopefully that is a great person. If you don't know that than you need to take the time to rediscover who you are fall in love with yourself first...and there after others will too. -Good luck

Appearance is a big part of a person, but normal no all. Appearance help us for many things, but if we don't have such things like "to be smart and fun", we are nothing.
Imagine a beautiful lady walking on the street, every one looks her, she is really pretty, but is so fool. Every one admire her, but at an instant she sad something, every one deform his face. Why?
Because she is so shy, no one admire anymore her, they can play now with her, but no one wish her to be his lady. No one want to have near him a stupid woman, however she is with a good appearance

well i mean dont take this bad im not an asshole or n e thing like dat but really a fat girl doesnt turn me on i mean IT JUST DOESNT!! lol i once dated a fat girl wanted 2 give'em a try and when it came 2 having sex i swear i couldnt get it up i mean i just wasnt xcited at all so ever since then ive never and never will date another fat girl ever again sorry :( didnt mean 2 bring u down on da other hand i know theres tons of guys out ther who wouldnt care 2 hav a fat girl

weight? That is the last thing I care about. Anyone who makes rude comments about fat people disgust me. It makes you gain weight? That does suck, but hey, Hakuna Matata. What you can't control, you can't control.

Some guys (more than you think) like heavier girls. Dont get down on yourself. you will find someone who loves you for you. and also thinks your beautiful just the way you are.

it depends on how overweight actually...I haven't dated a "cheerleader" type at all...all of my girlfriends have had a few extra pounds and I like it that way (so I'm not afraid to break her:))
