my daughter did the same thing. what I did was every few days I would make it a little cooler till eventually she took it cold. she was a year when I Finlay got her off warm milk...she too only drank juice and water cold never milk. my oldest was on cold formula at 6 months no weaning or anything. so try slowly cooling it off, eventually she will take it cold. good luck and don't give up take your Q's from her, but be a little persistent and don't take it away the min. she tosses it to the side and cry's. give her a few trys before you go heat it up more. also a lot of times baby's don't like to drink milk in a cup, they will only drink it in a bottle.

We've got some good answers here already. Decreasing the temperature gradually is a great idea. Here is a tip or "prevention"- give the baby room-temperature milk in the bottle all the time. He'll never have this problem as he grows up. I did this with my kids and none of them had ever been picky about the temperature of drinks, water, juice, or milk.

There's nothing wrong with drinking room temp. milk. Assuming you pour it 30 minutes before dinner and let it sit on the counter, that is. If it's a cup that got lodged in the cushion of the sofa the night before, and she wants to drink it the next night for dinner...yeah, might wanna stay away from that. :) Milk doesn't spoil instantly at room temp.
If you're out and about and worry about milk spoiling, give her water. It's better for her when it's hot outside anyway. There is a limit to the amount of milk a child should drink every day. I give my boys milk with every meal, and ice water in between.

my son was like that at a younger age though. I just slowly reduced the temp and now he drinks milk and juice right from the fridge, though he still won't drink straight water. He will only drink water say if it is 1 oz juice of any kind to 3 oz water. At least he drinks some water now, he wouldn't even drink any juice at all until he was nearly 15 months or so, he is 20 months now.
Just take your time and she will come around.

I know milk is important, but is it that important?? Will she eat yogurt cold? That's a good way to get her her calcium and protein on pcinics and long car rides without actually drinking milk. There are plenty of sources of calcium that don't come in milk form.
Also, you could try chocolate milk and strawberry milk?

Firstly ask yourself why you need her to like it cold. what is it other than" it makes life easier for you "? that you need her to like it cold. In life why can't we just accept how people are and what they like instead of trying to get them to conform in order to make ourselves happy. Trust that in time she will learn to value the flavour of milk cold warm hot or however she pleases for her own spirit, that makes her happy. (or simply try adding flavour to it) like milo, strawberry or bannana etc etc etc. good luck and enjoy your childs individuality, you only live once and it's meant to be enjoyable not easy. have a great day x o

You gotta pick your battles and this isn't one of them. If she doesn't want it, just drop the subject. Give her juice or water while you are out and about. It's easier to keep fresh anyway. Trust me there will be many things you will need to persuade her to do, but not this.
