I can not believe my "Luck". I lost the ring my bf gave to me this morning and went back home to search. I was almost giving up hope and prayed to god that please let me find my ring, if can find i will really start reading the bible and believe in him. Then a few minutes later i found my ring on my bed which i pretty sure there was nothing on it! I was so surprised and it feel so good to retrieve what u thought is lost.. Thanks GOD! I believe he heard me and helped me to get back my precious ring!
I was planning to start reading bible a few weeks ago, but just didn't find the time; Now i will start it this weekend. I will not break my promise to GOD.
I'm sharing this experiece to u, to all the Christians. Finally i believe in GOD and decide to trust him. I used to be a free-thinker and have never plan to go into any belief until my bf who is Christain came into my life. He told me all about GOD but i just cannot bring myself to thrust trust into GOD. Now my life is blessed! Thanks!

I know that different religion is worshipping different GOD. But i believe even though different, the purpose of trusting in GOD is the same. So the difference is nothing, it is the trust in our heart matters. I do hope all the religion can share their experieces together and communicate more

You are saved when you have accept Jesus as your savior and ask him to come into your life. Jesus died for your salvation.

Sometimes we humans need to see a "miracle" or an answer to prayer to give us a boost in our spiritual lives. I think you just had one.

God honored your prayer so please do your best to honor God by keeping your promise. It is you who will benefit by the knowledge of God's kingdom and His purpose and will in your life. Believe me, God wants to bless you far more than you want to be blessed.

May I make a suggestion about your bible? I don't know which version you use, but I suggest you visit a local Christian book store and look through the many versions to find the one you understand the most clearly. I prefer the Zondervan New International Version Study Bible, but my husband prefers the New King James Version.

Before you read the Bible, you should always ask that God open your eyes to the meaning and understanding of what you are reading. Nothing will stop you from reading the bible quicker than not being able to understand it.

Finally, have a plan to read it. Most Bibles have a one year reading plan in them that includes daily readings from both the Old and New Testaments. And do not be afraid to ask trusted Christians what a verse means. You can study it together if you need to.

Forgive me for saying this, yet you're a point 7 suitable contributor and additionally you are able to no longer tell others why God would not 'shop' all of us? you go with better than perception - you should be taught to examine! inspite of besides the fact that if a individual is a Christian or no longer, God would not shop everybody in this international - JESUS CHRIST does! "i'm the way and the fact and the existence. no person is composed of the daddy different than by using Me". (John 14:6)

Wow.

People are praying to god for food, shelter and peace in the world and he answers your petty prayer of finding a stupid ring?

You USED TO BE a free thinker? Sounds like you've never thought in your life. If you did, you'd look at this event and what you think of as god's granting of your prayer as a complete farce.

I think, maybe.. just maybe... that god had nothing to do with your finding your ring and that you did a poor job searching for it the first time.

With millions of people on the planet, don't you think it would behoove god to answer more serious prayers to gain sheep to shepard?

How lame.

I'm glad you found your ring. But I think, after you prayed, your faith made you feel that God was helping you look for the ring. The ring was there all along but after you believed that finding the ring is not your problem but God's, you finally found it.

I am glad that you found a path to your faith, yes. Unfortunately, if you had intended this story to inspire others to feel the same way, i'm sad to say it just didn't work.

Halleluiah! Praise the Lord!

Now, what are you going to do the next time you lose something and can't find it? Give up? What relevance does finding a ring have to do with believing or not believing in a god? What do you think god is--a little errand boy looking to help people find misplaced objects?

Don't promise God anything. You'll soon see that you will break all your promises just like the ancient Israelites.
Just believe, in spite of the ring.
We all fail and fall short. See Romans 3:23

Just as Christians doubt I was "ever saved in the first place", I tend to doubt that you were ever a free thinker. I know that's wrong of me... but your question is just really out there.

Glad you are happy, though. Best of luck.

Jeez ... to whom much is given, much is required. If this story is true -- why didn't you sit your bu?t down on that same bed and read The Bible RIGHT THEN!? Why aren't you reading it tomorrow, rather than starting "this weekend"?

You had a "miracle", and you are going to wait two days to return the favor?

Well?

Thanks for confirming one more time that my decision to reject ignorance & superstition was the correct one.

If heaven is going to be populated by people like you, I'll take the other option.

Now that you have confessed your belief is based strictly on being rewarded, does this mean you will become an atheist when your prayers are not answered?

I think it would be nice to share it to Jews, Muslims, Hindus and any other religion as well. We all believe in the same god.
