dont shave it off because as you probably know we grow differently than animals,the beard is probably just a cat family trait

I suspect your cat is longhaired. It's not unusual for them to have tufts of hair sticking out in various places, especially if the cat is not keeping herself well groomed. Also, make sure it's not food or some other gunk making the hair stick together; she may be a sloppy eater and need some help to keep her chin clean.

If it isn't bothering the cat and the skin looks normal, don't worry.
If she picks up an AK-47 and calls for jihad, worry.

you could trim it if you really wanted to, cats are somewhat hairy you know....I would laugh at a cat more if it had a bald spot on its chin.

um its a cat. they are hairy. IF you cat had a penis and it was a girl you should be scared. but it doesnt and its only hairy.
