Depression can be a really hard thing to deal with. As for your question, Is it you or just a phase? I believe it is neither. Depression is and can be a mental illness brought on by a traumatic experience in life. Such as a death in the family, divorce of parents (especially for young children). Never be afraid to ask for help. If you don't, you WILL regret it. I recommend not only personal counseling, but spiritual counseling, also. This will help you make sense of your feelings and emotions. As far as you being suicidal, no one; and I mean NO ONE looks cool or good or anything in a coffin ready to be buried. Death and suicide are definetly not the answer.

Don't worry you shouldn't be embarrassed some people r like that! You can talk to a counciler, but if u r 2 afraid, talk 2 a friend or family member. Who knows even a therapist can help! It ain't good to keep that bottled up! Find something you really enjoy 2 do and make it a hobby and spend time on it. It'll help u forget your troubles.

Well if your recognize it as an issue its probley not a phase, Don't be afraid to ask someone for help, Just put your foot down about NOT taking medications....It doesn't sound like you need it...
Ask for professional help and when they start asking about meds tell them that meds didn't get you into this mess, and they wont help get you out of it, You have to deal with the rational world by being rational...-hugs-

Then you either need a trip to a mental health facility- just temporary -so they can help you identify your emotional problems and help you cope in a healthyer way...you can get assistance in an outpatient settling too. There is nothing wrong with asking or getting help. But if you already killed someone else -then what you need is a trip to Jail and still will ask for some emotinal therapy.Good luck.

its you and it will not fix its self!!!!!first and hardest step you have already taken! take another now and regardless of how things are treated you will feel better. i think that you may fear being locked up and all that. well, think about the other locked up where there is in reality not much chance for true help, plus the guilt of what you'd of done to get there. to yourself or someone else. seems you wouldn't really want hurt someone else but its very likely if you do not get some assistance medically with this. hell, you may even get some pills that are the wonder drug and make all those bad thoughts just go away. it could be that simple you won't know till you goooooooooooo!!!!!!! please go for you and us. thank you!!!!!

It's not a phase!!! I suffered just the same as you for nearly 30 years because I didn't have the guts to seek a counselor. Well, finally I went to my regular dr. and She gave me a prescription and it worked so well that when I went back she said I'd have to get an appt with a mental health provider. So, to get my pills, I did that and it was the best thing I ever did.
Please don't suffer for that long and please don't kill---you or anyone else. Please call your dr and ask for a referral.
You will thank me later ---said by MONK!

are you still 8 years old? If so it is a phase.
If not
You have a problem.
Does it affect your daily life? Do you feel that way most or all of the day every day? By homicidal/suicidal - do you have a plan? if so YOU NEED to talk to someone who can help you.

You doing the right thing by talking with someone about this. Talk to a counselor. Get some friends who you can share your feelings with. The main thing is get it all out by talking and getting help whether from a friend, a family member or a counselor.

Feeling homicidal or suicidal is never a "phase" and you need professional help immediately. Seek the treatment and save your life and maybe others in the process.
