In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.

JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"

Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus claimed to be the Son of God and he also claimed that he and the Father were One.

Jesus performed miracles by his own will (the prophets of the past had to use God's power). Jesus claimed he could forgive sins, which only God could do.

The whole reason why Jesus was crucified was because many people thought he was being blasphemous because he was claiming to be God!

I cannot prove to you 100%, but there is enough credible evidence out there to believe so

if you want proofs that Jesus was the son of God, you can read the Bible there are many verses in the Bible that proves Jesus was truly the only son of God, but i'm sorry i can't sight some.

i'll jst give you some instances in the life of Jesus that proves He's the son of God. remember when he was crucified, His seven last words, He said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they were doing," Father why have you forsaken me",(not the actual words), but in here you can see that Jesus is actually talking to His Father, GOD. if He's not the Son of God then who is referring to as Father?. Jesus is the Son of God and not God. He and God is different they are not one. if you read the Bible there no such thing written in it as TRINITY. the TRINITY is only a man made teaching and not from the Bible. if Jesus is truly God why did he die, starved, get tired.....he shouldn't experiencing what we humans usually experienced. why don't he save himself and punished all those who hurt him and crucified him if He is GOD. Jesus is our savior. He is our way through GOD.

remember this verse."for God so loved the world He gave us His only Son," Jesus Christ.

Hundreds of prophesies and character types in the old testament point only to Jesus, the one man who, against all odds, fulfilled every one of them, to the letter. This can be proven through established scholarship. Since all of the old testament was written hundreds or thousands of years before Jesus walked the earth, it would be impossible for any mere man to fulfill every prophecy, let alone rise from the dead, an event which was also predicted in the old testament, and which was later verified by over 500 eye witnesses. Additionally, as a practicing Catholic, I spend a lot of quality time with Jesus, and he has personally confirmed all these things to my satisfaction. It doesn't have to be proven. You either have faith that Jesus is the Son of God or not. Faith is believing in things not seen. In the Gospel of John, it is written that God sent his one and only Son, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Of course, I am paraphrasing. Chapter 3, look it up.

It can not be proved in a sense, true it is in the Bible, but not everyone believes in that. It all depends on whether you believe or not. Then it is all in there "proved" and what not. If you don't believe then there is no historical evidence that there is a connection. All we know is what is passed down and the religious historical documents. But in the end it depends on what you believe.
