Here children need to be in a booster until they are 8 years old, or 80 Lbs or 4'8", they need to be at least one of those minimums before they don't need a booster seat anymore. My cousin is 8 and just got out of hers 6 months ago because she was 81Lbs and 4'11".
Parents who don't pay attention to the safety of their child should not be able to keep their child. A lot of places if you are recieving some kind of social assistance the public health department will give you a car seat that is age and size apporpriate for your child and you get it free of charge as long as you sit in on a car seat safety presentation. What's 1 hour compared to the well being of your child?

What's the point of this question? To call people bad parents. I dont my kids are 4. They dont move around when I drive. They are too big for a carseat and I'm not getting booster seats.
Everyone has there own opinion. But sad so many people jugding other people choices. Get a life people.

CRAZY FREAKS!!! Don't they know the dangers of having a child in a car! They may be the best mamow drivers in the world but who says the man across the street isn't intoxicated???If they don't have the time to buckle their child up then obviously they don't have the time for their child!!!! Haven't they seen the commercials... The Magic Number is 4"9 before they can even be taken out of a booster!

Ones who remember standing or laying on the seats, floor, back window when they were younger--and are alive to tell about it, and the ones who trust their driving enough to not throw their kid through the windshield from their seat-belted position in the back seat on an impromptu trip to DQ in someone else's car.
I'm all for child safety, but lighten up, people.

Seriously tho - parents who don't want their kids do that. Because the parents may be good drivers but they forget that they can't control what other people may or may not do on the road.

really shitty ones... aparently they dont care if their beautiful children go flying thru the front window during an accident... i was in a booster seat til i was like 7....
