Hi everyone- This might sound gross, so I apologize in advance. I am a healthy teen and since Sunday morning, I have been having some problems with going #2. It has been very hard to push anything out and since Sunday, I've always been walking around with the need to go #2 again, but when I try, nothing happens. Why is this? Please help, it's really getting annoying. Thank you.

Don't force it you could cause yourself to get hemorroids. I'd see a doc. You might need stool softners or something like exlax. But make sure you take the recommended dosage and follow the instructions.

It could be that you are dehydrated. Drink lots of water, also since its been a while since you have gone #2, I recommend going to a drug store, buy some laxatives or stool softener and I promise you by the next day you will have gone #2. If that still doesn't work I recommend you see a doctor, because something maybe obstructing its path.

You may have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) does it feel like "pressure" all the time? You may also just be constipated. Try taking a little bit of "Benefiber" in your water twice a day. It's an all natural fiber supplement that is organic (i.e. no weird gas issues for you to deal with) and it helps you go when you need to go and stop when you need to stop. Good luck!

You sound constipated. Up your fiber intake. Also, if this goes on much longer you may need to see a Doc, to get you all cleared up.

Make sure you are drinking enough fluids, being dehydrated won't help. Get some Metamucil if it doesn't get better soon.
