We cant seem yo find it on the menu. UK TV.

Go into teletext and press 888. Failing that, if you have a yellow button on your remote and the programme is subtitled, then that should switch them on.

Should be a button on your remote control labelled Subtit or Subtitle. If that doesn't work try the On Screen Display or setup on TV. Alternatively check your TV instruction manual, if you haven't got that the website for the make of your TV generally has an online maual you can download or read.

not all tvs have subtitles. and not all programs have subtitles either...
on my remote there is a button at the top that if i hadnt have pushed it accidently the other day i would ahve had no idea it was the subtitles button! (but thats through my freeview box)
on a normal tv isnt it through ceefax page 888? i havent brought subtitles up for ages so im not much help sorry, but there may be a button on your remote, push them all until something happens!!

Sky box: goto services.. then 4(set-up) then 3: lang/subtitles.. and Digiview box.. will be in the menu... Teletext.. ch888...

Its not the remote control, you have to turn on ceefax then press 888

if you have sky, press help then select subtitles on from the menu

is there not button on your remote not all progs have subs
