That depends on where you need the adjustment. I usually sit in a chair and lean back and kind of bounce back to realign my upper back. for my lower back I twist my waist. But you should really see a chiropractor instead of doing it yourself.

Go on some yoga websites and check out the postures and poses, especially the ones on your back.

You should not try to do it yourself, nor should you have a friend do it, unless your friend is a chiropractor. You could do damage. Believe me, you don't want that. Go to a licensed chiropractor. They know what they are doing.
