I have a great side dish for BBQ's
cut up 1lb of bacon and fry
while bacon is frying add sliced zucchini and squash (do not drain the grease it will all be absorbed)
after it is all tender add 1 can of green Chile, 1 bag of frozen corn and cut up a block of monetary jack cheese and melt into mixture.
It sounds and looks like mush but it is So good, my family loves it when I make this. Give it a try sometime.

check it out,, got this from somewhere cant remember...

get a honey dew melon and cut it in half, take out all the seeds and junk and cut off the skin so all you have is the green fruit (keep them in half)

then, take strawberry sorbet and mix it with blueberries, (gently as to not ruin the blueberries)

take the sorbet and berry mix and fill the halves of melons

then freeze the two halves

when fully frozen,, take out and cut into quarters the long way.

and voila,, They are a cool treat that looks like a watermelon quarter but is fully edible!!!!

I have to do this too,this year I am giong to get a bag of those frozen,pre cooked buffalo wings ,thaw them and roast on a grill,I cant really cook ,but that is a sure bet.,just get some dip for them.

Hot dogs, burgers, etc....Also, try a cake with red/white/blue frost(decorate like the flag) And top with sparklers not candles
