freaking out is normal . you have so many things going through your head and you know things will be different after they come .
the greatest things you can give your children throughtout their lives is time and understanding . with both of these most likely everything else will fall into place.
children seem to do much better when they have both parents and both parents spend quality time with them . children learn so much from adults around them .
you can buy a book called what to expect the first 2 years . they also have one what to expect when you are expecting . i am not sure how far along pregnant your mate is , but both of those are good books .
what to expect when expecting talks about the developement of the babies month by month , what things to look for , possible questions to ask the doctor , and different things your mate may be expirencing that month like heart burn , tiredness , etc.
what to expect the first two years is much the same. what they should be able to do at different ages , like when they should start rolling over , sitting up , saying words , saying sentences etc.
you seem to be on the right path to being a great dad !
good luck and congrats

Yes, it is perfectly normal. Do some research on parenting (public library is a great resource), there are books that tell you what is normal at different ages. The more informed you are, the better you will be at parenting. Babies cannot be spoiled, just love them and take care of them. When they get older be consistent. I hope the babies mom is going to breastfeed them, it is the best thing she can do for their health and well-being. Know that you will be exhausted for the first few months, do everything you can to help the mom in the first weeks. Good luck, and enjoy them. They grow up very quickly.

This is TOTALLY normal!! Parenting is the hardest job you will ever have, but also the most rewarding!! Parenting doesnt come with a handbook and a set of rules, you have to play it by ear and hope for the best!! Good Luck, you will do GREAT!! =)

100% normal. Take it step by step...the best thing you have going for you is that you want to be a good parent - once the boys arrive, it'll be crazy for awhile as you adjust to your new role as Dad, but it will all fall into place and you will become a confident and experienced parent.

This is normal, for both parents for anytime. My fiancee says he dosnt want any more kids because he is getting to old, but when a baby comes over for a visit, he holds it and loves it as if it was him..
Maybe it is... *curious*.. just kidding....

ABSOLUTE NORMAL!!! We all (including moms) go through this... how do you prepare?? They don't come with instruction books;)
Just keep in mind that we ALL make mistakes - but our intention is GREAT and we do the best we can!!
Just the fact that you are so concerned shows me that you are going to be a interactive, caring dad.
CONGRATS!!
