The fact that people can write perverted, sexist, racist, ignorant questions on here, but someone who uses a few cuss words to empasize things gets a 'violation'. And tell me why you have limited space to type your questions but when you ask a question you get limited space. A person will copy and paste an entire encyclepedia as their answer to an opinion-only question. Of course they do this expecting to get 10 points which are sooo overrated! Who cares? If you can't give your own knowledge and opinion to answer the question, then don't answer it! Does anyone feel me on this?

I agree. I get sick of the copied and pasted answers from people who you can tell couldn't really give a sh!t and don't know what they're talking about.

I copied and pasted once because I really thought it was a good explanation to the question. But I think it's stupid when people do that just cause they're expecting 10 points.

And yeah, yahoo needs to get on the ball about stopping the REAL violators. Totally. Just because someone doesn't use a curse word doesn't mean they're not an ignorant @ss.

I think there is something in the Yahoo Answers Blog on this kinda thing, the swearing more than anything. They acknowledged that the banning of swearing wasn't perfect, but was aimed at those who just blatantly swear here there and everywhere. As to perverts and sexist, racist, ignorant questions, I'm more likely to report those than someone who uses a swear word (yes I have reported questions and answers, but never for swearing!), and some of those questions have been deleted, and I presume the person received a violation notice too.

yeah i know like i was answering a question and this guy who was on there previously was yelling at me because i took it too seriously and it was a SERIOUS question. and before i even wrote anything that other guy was already yelling in some guys question space ...some people have no respect...but when we use caps or have a few cuss words (only because i cant think of another word) we get bashed on more then the ppl who use it all the time. ..dont get it

It does pee me off! I blame it on others who report people who are trying to stress their points with well chosen words... (sometimes gosh darn just doesn't get it) but don't report the ignorant dribble...hmmm could it be that their are more perverts, sexists and racists then we thought? Remember everyone is entitled to their own opinion and what some consider ignorant others don't.

Keep in mind anyone that writes racist or sexist questions gets a violation too.

I got one once because someone asked for lucrative internet businesses. I suggested internet porn and got a violation.

I refuted it because it IS a legal business.

I also got one because I called the poster of a dumb question a pee hole. MUAHAHAHA

I have gotten one violation and yes I do find it to be ignoring.I do in fact think that cussing should not be an issue as much as perverted things such as sexist comments should not be allowed to be sent to another "Answer's"user.

H*** yeah!

everytime I f***ing turn around im getting violations for some s*** I allegedly answered.

I mean, if ppl can ask outrageous f***in questions, I should be able to give outrageous answers.

yet yahoo always tellin me that I can't say "F*** you blow me" or "your momma loved this d***" or "get a life you jerk-a** retard!".

Its unfair man.
