What does it mean when a guy who is interested in a girl knows her perfume smell? And swears to god that he smells it even when your not around?

First of all he's not interested in her perfume he's just smelled it once but the memory of it is fixed in his mind forever, guys generally have doggy type of noses and once they get their sweetheart's smell they'll feel her around them all the time whenever they are lonely, down ,happy anywhere, it's kinda romantic and reassuring.

i seriously have the same thing... my gf has this distinct smell... and every time ill randomly walk around and ill be like wait... this smells like my gf... and ill stand there... and theres really nothing special about that place... i do it cuz im in love.
