lets say a person dies cant find a person able to be benificary for how many years is it till no good or even a bank account

In the life Insurance Policy itself there is slot for a nominee, in case nominee also dies then the claim could be by legal successors. The claim can be materialised within a limited reasonable period which differs from country to country.
