need opinions here!?

ok, i think i'm ready to start dating again, but here's the problem, i don't drive ..well yet, and i don't get out much at all to meet ppl, because i'm a mom. also, i've had guys flirt with me at like taco bell and stuff, but it's always younger guys, i guess cuz i look younger than i am, 21, and i look about 16 or 17, what do i do?

You need to date men who are mature enough to be a good father to your child. Because, obviously, the man you marry will be from the pool of men that you date. Can you dress and wear makeup that make you look 21? If you look 16 or 17 it's less likely that a guy 24 will flirt with you or ask you out. Get your drivers license so you will have more options and spend less time traveling. I really don't have any good ideas of where to meet good men. There's the standard answer of church activities and singles groups based at churches. There is the possibility that a website that focuses on Christian dating. I realize that men who call themselves "Christian" may be jerks too, but I hope the percentage of good men is larger.
I understand your situation, because of you needing to take care of your child, and not having much time to get out; you need to maximize the effectiveness of the time you do have.

well, first of all, I think you should wait until you can drive so that way you are able to get our more. I mean staying at home isnt gonna work if you really want to meet someone. So do what you need to do so you can start driving and start meeting people and get that social life of yours going again. Oh, and by the way, make sure you let who ever you meet know that you are in deed a mom of one. This will tell you whether or not the guy is really into you. I love kids, so if a woman tells me she has kids or a kid, I would most definitly be cool with that. Good luck, hun

First of all are you divorced or are you a widow? second is that if you start dating and stuff your man may marry you love, but he may not be loving your kids, the situation is like a fish without water, you kids are the fish and the water is your late or ex hubby, they can live only with him not with anyone else, so give the lil' one's a thought and then take this step 'cuz it may change your life drastically. Try a singles group, there's one called Parents Without Partners or PWP. I think they are all over the US. It might be worth a shot since you'll be meeting other single parents. They plan activities for parents with their kids and just for the parents alone.

Hey. Your not old. Your only 21. Go out and date or accept an invite. It does mean your too old to date a 17yr old guy/girl nor does it mean yourdating a toy boy. Get real, have fun and go out on that date.
