I volunteer regularly at the local park.

Tuesday. I met with my mayor with my community service group to discuss the improvements that need to be made at a local historic site.

I volunteered for the Peace Corps in 1992. I enjoyed over two and one-half years working in community development and education. I, prior to that commitment, as now, volunteer for only hours at a time rather than years!!

To be specific...1:34am. I began volunteering my time on Yahoo! Answers in Mental Health about 1 month ago.
Due to health concerns, I cannot be involved in my "real" community, so I figure I can be of use in this "virtual" community.
I try to log on for 3 or 4 hours a few days a week.

I got forced into volunteering 2 years ago and I don't plan on doing it again.

ordering soccer uniforms for the league,
gathering up all star uniforms for little league
researching web hosting for little league.
