Carl Spackler!!!!

He is THE greenskeeper extraordinaire portrayed by Bill Murray in "Caddyshack."

The word you are looking for is greenskeeper. A "groundskeeper" can pertain to landscaping duties for a much wider range of clientele than golf courses (such as Groundskeeper Willie from "The Simpsons" - who takes care of school grounds).

" ... and, it's in the hole!!!!"

"... Cinderella story ... out of nowhere ... Masters champion."

^^Wrong^^

A Groundskeeper works either in a park or at a school...

A Greenskeeper is who manages the physical appearance of the golf course itself.

Greenskeeper is another term. The "boss" is the head superintendent and usually there is an assistant superintendent.
