First of all, we where enforcing the UN Resolution 1441 that the liberals so believe in. We went into that country to rid it of WMD's, that we are finding, and clear it of the trash that was running it.
We helped them form their OWN government so they can decide what THEY want, not what we want.
They could never invade us, however the terrorist who was in Iraq DID and I assume you didn't mind that so much.. we probably deserved it?
Addition:
Iraq WAS developing WMD's, even your president said he was.
UN Resolution 1441 gave us the reason we needed to go in and rid the world of this dictatorship. I don't think we ever said he had anything to do DIRECTLY with 9/11/2001 except maybe supply training camps for terrorist.
Daddy did not finish the war because he decided to listen to wimpy Liberals. If he had finished it, we wouldn't be there now losing more and more of our men. If we would have done it then, the 9/11 issue would not be attempted here....

Excuse me, but Iraq WAS involved in 9/11! Obviously, you don't watch the news because if you do then you'd see that there was a connection between Al Qaeda (those people who attacked us) and Saddam Hussein (former dictator of IRAQ!!) He supplied them with money and supported their cause. Not only that, but Saddam Hussein is not exactly a friend of ours, I believe he hates us. Taking him out of power only made the world a better place, for Iraq, us, and the rest of the world. Seriously, a guy who killed his own people? Also look at the news we caught zarqawi who was a big al qaeda leader in Iraq. There's you're justifications, mister. Oh, and may I mention that chemical AND biological weapons were found in Iraq, would you like that to be used against us? They're gone now, and there hasn't been a SINGLE atttack on the US since 9/11! How this has heightened our protection against terrorisim! If only people would understand.

The invasion was not justified obviously. Just how was Iraq hypothetically able to ever invade the USA. Did they have the capability of coming here by boats and landing in the Chesapeake or
something? Of course not. They wouldn't make it alive to anywhere near the USA. Will they drop parachutes? No, they didn't have the aircraft to do that either. Iraq was annoying and it was pretty obvious that Bush had a hard on for Iraq from day one, that is if you listen to his various advisers and confidants who have been quoted as saying that as fact.

The only justification answered by the bloody war is Saddam...but every other thing said by Dubya (what we call Bush here in our country) was either a product of his Cheney-induced immagination or a deliberate lie. And Iraq has no guts to invade the USA...they'd be finished in a few seconds by all the nukes of the US, and any invasion force would be squashed before they even leave Iraq. I answered the first part seriously...the second part was a joke.

no. there is no apparent reason for US or anyone to invade iraq. have u ever actually known of the existence of Osama Bin Laden before the 9-11 attacks? isn't it a lil fishy that only after the attack that that guy became worldwide known? whatever happen to diplomatic relevations? by invading iraq n any other middle eastern country, it is like creating the second hiroshima n nagasaki incident. honestly i don't think Iraq has any interest in US or any other nations. they are after all the underdog. really... think about it.

Yes it was justified. First al queda elements had moved from Afghanistan to Iraq. Please note the NY Times (hardly a right wing newspaper) articles after Zarkawi was killed on how he fled Afghanistan after we invaded there and was aided by Saddams son. If Al queda was setting up shop in Iraq and Saddam supported it - it was time to move in.
Second there was the concern over WMD's. Looking past the rhertoric on lies you should take a look at the dialogues presented between Saddams generals of their main army and Saddam himself after we invaded. His own generals thought they had such weapons and were demanding access to them. Some weapons have been found (sarin gas), but certainly not enough to go to war over; but the threat and concern was real. Ask Kerry, Hillary, Bill, the presidents of France, Germany, Russia, and even China all agreed he had them.
Third there was the way he treated the people of Iraq. He killed over a hundred thousand people, he tortured many and political opponents lived in fear of their lives.
You asked what if Iraq invaded the US? Well if we lived under a dictator who's sons' threw political dissidents into acid pools for entertainment, and hundreds of thousands of people disappeared for disagreeing with the dictator - I would hope someone would invade.

No, our attack on Iraq was not justified. We went there supposedly because they had weapons of mass destruction (which the United States had sold to them originally. Actually Donald Rumsfeld is the guy who made the deal go through) that they somehow were going to use against us here even though they had no capability of attacking the United States. I agree that Saddam Hussein was a lunatic but that is no reason to go and destroy a country and take out countless civilians in the process. There could have been other ways of doing it. Why did we not go after North Korea when we know that they have Nuclear capabilities and are currently testing a missile that could reach the United States. The reason we went to Iraq is because the United States is on shaky footing with Saudi Arabia and we needed another significant source of oil so that we could maintain our way of life. There was no connection between Saddam and Alqaeda. He actually hated them. It is disappointing to see the United States over there because it is a cause of a pointless waste of life.

WMD's have been found in Iraq ( see: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,200726,00.html ) Al-Qaida is in Iraq as confirmed by BIn Laden and the death of Al Zarcawi. Al-Qaida attacked us on 911 killing many Innocent men women and children. Of course it was. Also, I believe if my way of life was living under a tyrannical regime like Saddam's I would love to have another country come to help change my way of life. You might like living under such a regime, so I'd recommend North Korea, we will miss you, have fun.

The invasion happened three years ago so its really irrelevant whether or not it was justified now as it has happened and is in the past.
I don't think that coalition soldiers will stay there for one minute longer than they have to, and as soon as the Iraqi army can take over they will be back home.
