the Nazi's were more direct. They wore uniforms and were intent on spreading their dynasty throughout the world. Whereas the Islamic people have been very clandestine about their actions. When they do appear on video, they are hidden beneath layers of clothing over their faces. And because Islamics are more widespread than other populaces during war-time (i.e. vietnam during the war with America) the "enemy" of peace is anywhere and everywhere. At least in Vietnam our soldiers knew that their enemy was in that country, and could be watchful for them. that is not the case with Islamics. They will work deceitfully in our country (or other countries) quietly and smiling the whole time they are plotting wiping a portion of the American population. That is not bravery for a cause...it is cowardice. the reason we are not fair to Muslims in America anymore is because we don't know which one is going home every night to build some explosive device or launch an anthrax outbreak. the Muslims/Islamics that do these things don't have it tatooed on their foreheads what their intentions are. At least when the Japanese fought in World War II their Kamikazees would wear head bands indicating that they did not plan on returning home from their mission. So, as a result I trust none of the Islamics or Muslims. It simply would be foolish to do so!

No but people did generalize that all germans were nazis and all japanese (even those who lived in the US) were enemies. Muslims are getting much better treatment than groups in the past have.

All muslims aren't terrorists. But all the terrorista who have preformed the attacks of 9/11 and later are muslim. DUmb people will assume that everyone is like this because they probably haven't ever left their state let alone their country and met anyone outside their small sphere of experience.

This question gets asked so much here its almost funny. I don't think all Muslims are terrorists, nor do I believe that all terrorists are Muslims. However that being said, I personally look at ALL Muslims with a scant eye because I don't see the "general Muslim" population standing up denouncing the terrorists. So I have to assume that they are helping the terrorists. *shrugs* simply by turning a blind eye to whats going on.

The fault of being human is that we fall victim to stereotyping people. It's been done to every culture and every religion. Muslims just happen to be the new, "hip" stereotype right now. But don't fret, something new will come along to be stereotyped and the spotlight will be taken off of the Muslims.

Just don't stereotype everyone, yourself. Not everyone thinks Muslims are terrorist. This includes me.

Love and peace!

people Did hate the Nazis' i also seem to remember something about what the govt. did to the Japanese when we were fighting them. the bottom line is that the middle east has hated America long before Bush, either of them. In Iran it is policy to hate America. Something I do not understand is why all the people that are coming out against America for its actions are not also putting blame and trying to put there energy toward regimes that do evil things on a daily basis.

Nazis did not commit crimes in the name of the Pope. Besides, Christians fought against the Nazis. How many Muslim countries are standing up against Islamic terrorists............. We will take a brief reccess while you try to find one.

People still generalize Germans to the Nazis' actions... It's because people are ignorant.

Everyone doesn't think this. I doubt even most people think that. Some do. Some are like me who do not like terrorists of any race religion creed or gender. Remember that Timothy McVeigh was white, as were everyone who assassinated an American President.

Like I've said, time and time again. People are ignorant. They believe stereotypes. It's not fair, but that's the way the world is. We can't change everyone. But, we can make a difference with the way we teach our children. Children are our future. We have to start the change with them!

well as a muslim i can say not all people think all of us are. but for an extremist they will say we are. the governments portray us as all terrorists so there for that is what we are labeled as. hey before it was the nazis who were ALL evil, back in the crusades it was the christians who were ALL evil, the catholics killed protestents and vice versa because they beleived they were ALL evil. so there for i guess it is our turn to be labeled as ALL evil. no big woop god will deal with us all justly
