Don't worry!! Your family loves you too.. It's just younger kids need a lot of attention and can take up a lot a parent's time. It's easy to not worry as much about the oldest child because they are more independent and do a lot for themselves. If you are feeling neglected, talk to your parents and tell them how you feel, and ask them if they can give you some one on one time.

Beating her up isn't going to solve anything. For now, just try to excel in what you do -- school, sports, activities, things around the house. Do things that will get you positively noticed by your family, and realise that your niece is the baby at the moment and will naturally get attention, but that it won't remain that way forever. :)

look if i understood your question right, you are 11 and she is 5 right? if she is your little sister then don't worry.. All children at this age always get attention from parents because they are young and cute but you could always be honest with your parents and tell them about it. If she is NOT your sister then you don't have to worry at all because even if she get the attention you want, your parents will still love you more.

*The Answer* I must agree with you. Although using ESP with my friends to sove my problems works, I don't know how to solve someone wanting to beat someone up...
My friends and I have mind fights whenever we're ticked off or annoyed, or if none of them are available, I simply watch TV or play a video game.. Beating your sister up won't help either, mate.

But why do you want the attention?
Maybe you should just find something else to do, like play with your toys or friends.
You need to go hang out with your friends.

Befriend her... stick to her like glue
Then, you're gonna get attention too...
Remember, it's not easy being 'green'...
Envy is a monster that will consume you...

Just tell your family how you feel about her and maybe they'll pay attention to you again.

Take away your comparison with her.
She will be your good companion and run your errands as she grows older. You'll be her admirer.
