I thought my son was going to die but he said it was okay. He lost 15 lbs but got more muscles. He is a Ranger now & said Basic Training & Officer Training School got him ready for it.

-marines
-army
-navy
-airforce
some might argue the positions of 3 and 4, but 1 and 2 are generally accepted so long as we are restricitng it specifically to 'boot camp' alone

Don't join the army, go air force, you'll never sleep in a tent or be on the front lines facing a road side bomb.

they're all designed to break you down and build you from scratch.
no one is harder than the other - they both push you to breaking limit.
