luzerboloni, you're in luck. I can answer your question. If all guys were cute then they would not appear so cute to you since everyone would be homogenous. We need contrast to know and appreciate the opposite. If everything were totally light wouldn't it almost be the same thing as being totally dark?

Melody, the Hindus believe that there was only the one in the beginning and out of desire for relationship spit itself into the multitude of things. Well, we know why die - biological process, must make room for the future generation, etc., and so on. So I would want to know why the universe, matter, and life itself was created! Why not just stay a void?! :)
Ooh, but I like the idea of asking how to extend life... but I would probably be told to eat healthy, exercise, and all that stuff we already know but don't feel like doing. Better yet would be to know the key to immortality... Probably would be told it's just impossible and waste a question that way... Then again, if you're gonna try for something, go for the gold, I guess. ;)
Here's another good one - Is there intelligent life on other planets? Or will we ever have contact with them? Err, I'm a fan of science-fiction...sorry.
I know you said to just pick one, but it's so hard! I think I listed it in order of priority, with the most burning question at the top. :)

** ah, that is true. but after years of studying theories at my university, I think that I am ready for some practical knowledge reguarding the soul... is it indeed everlasting, recycling into many generations of lives (while still remaining us), or is there some endpoint, a place to rest as reward (or runishment).

so this is MORE of 'if' i had one wish what would it be'?
could someone invent something or could god or 'the supreme being' make EVERYONE that is in jail right now state TRUTHFULLY if they DID or did NOT do the crime for which they are currently convicted AND
