I haven't told a guy I'm in love with him, and my family is planning on moving to North Carolina. Everyone thinks I would have more opportunities there, but I would miss this guy too much.

I haven't even told the guy that I'm in love with him, we're just friends right now. Should I tell him, and stay where I live? Or should I move, and not tell him? It's almost impossible to find a job here, but I am going to try a few more places before I decide what to do. Even if I made a lot of money in NC, I would probably be really unhappy, because I wouldn't get to see him.

Any insight would be helpful, thanks.

Try to talk to him, to find out if he likes you too. If he does, both you will find a solution: maybe he will go with you or maybe you get lucky and find a job there, where you are. Trust me, money are not that important; if you have only money, you feel that something is missing. I know that, I felt that...I know how it feels...but first, find out if he likes you too. If not, by leaving, you will forget him easier...don't you think?

you are in a tricky situcaion. If you deny your heart your true love, then your heart will never let you rest, and will always ask you, what if? what if you had stayed? what if you had done SOMETHING different. Tell the guy how you feel. And from there you can decide what you want to do. If he returns the same feelings, then its worth it to make it work somehow. But if he doesnt, then its a good signal to move on. I know telling him is just about the bravest thing you will ever have to do. But to help your future... tell him. Follow your heart, not your head.

I'm a lot older than you. So my answer is: I would choose money because I chose love 3 times and the struggle sucks. Money would have made my life less stressful. (But there is nothing like mutual love)

Love is the strongest thing anyone could have. It doesn't waste away like money.
