The tournament continues on July 1, tomorrow with quarterfinal matches which are:

Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs Hidehiko Yoshida
Mark Hunt vs Josh Barnett
Wanderlei Silva vs Kazuyuki Fujita
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Fabricio Werdum

Semifinals and final are on the same night on PRIDE event in September.

The winner of the tournament will get the chance to face Fedor Emelianenko in PRIDE heavyweight championship match on December 31, PRIDE's New Year's Eve event and then we'll get the answer to your second question.

My guess is that either Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira or Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic are going to take the tournament. If Noguera takes it, then no, Fedor wont get beaten any time soon. In their previous fights Fedor was always in complete control from start to finish and Nogueira couldn't do anything to him. But if Mirko takes it, on the other hand then who knows. Fedor did get the decision in their first match but he had a war on his hands there. Mirko is the only man that ever hurt him and gave him a real fight and had there not been for that stamina problem who knows how it might have ended up. So it would really be awesome to see two of them have a rematch.

And if someone else takes the tournament I don't think that they will have much chance against Fedor. He is in my opinion a lot better and lot more complete fighter then any other man there.
