Curacao is a Caribbean island and one of the Netherland Antilles (Southern Group) just off the coast of Venezuela. Besides being a vacation island it is also an Offshore Finance Center. If you go to http://www.islandsguide.co.uk/netherlandantilles.htm you can get a good overview plus links to tourist sites and a location map. My son-in-law and daughter have been there and are mixed in their views of the place.
