it waz a blind date and we hooked up and i'm happy with him abd she's been saying that i need to find a "man" for me but she wants me to go out with a different guy but once again i'm happy with the guy i'm goin out with. i've told her i waz meeting him but i haven't told her that we're goin out. she doesn't think i should go out with him.

In other words, you don't have to tell her, and if you choose to, don;t take any guff from her cuz it's your life and your choice. I wouldn;t let my friends tell me what to do or make me feel bad about what I am doing. If she is relaly a best friend, she will support you and just be there for you -- with her mouth shut.
