Just want to know if anyone else has sat back there, and if he/she/they were able to still kinda make out the stage and performance?...clear sight lines? should i bring binoculars? i am seeing a ballet (I've never been to the Met opera house). what should i expect? what was the experience like? any tips?

Any time you can be in and enjoy the met it is a wonderful time.

you are going to the met. you are seeing the ballet. you are enjoying live performance. you little lucky f**k. enjoy and over pack if worried you won't have your toys. shut your eyes and listen if you can not see. enjoy life with one sense cut off. see how your other senses become more heighten. eat bon bons (the froozen prefab ones i had at the ACT in sf in the 70's are why i don't mind waxy chocolate on my ice cream.) that was my favorite going to the theater as a child up in the highest of high seats. so just relax and enjoy instead of making it such a project or event.

Do check, because my experience (not at the Met) has been that seats at the back of an opera house are no fun at all.

Family Circle...is just very high, bring binoculars if you can.
