depends.. both have thier pros and cons oils can take much longer to dry and u can take longer to blend, mix, shade your colors, etc.. while acrylics tend to dry faster but then if u need to make corrections u can go over it without having to wait so long...(my friend say it can take a day or so... personally i've only used acrylics)

Almost the same thing. About quality, I myself find no difference in the quality of an oil painting or an acrylic painting. Acrylic paint can be just as rich looking and have nice texture as oils.

I would have to say Acrylics are easier. Adding water to acrylic paint makes it spread easily. Adding water to oil dosent work at all. Oils are hard to clean, but acrylics are great. You just need the right paints.

It depends on your painting style and the process you use to paint. It also depends on your patience level.
Acrylics are much faster drying, which allows you to layer paint quickly. This also allows you to paint thick, and doesn't require you to layer the paint to get the same strength. It doesn't give you the opportunity to go back into the painting though, which is a bit of a bummer sometimes.
Oils do take much longer to dry, and I've found the best techinque that works for me requires a slow building of layers to get a strong and rich color. It is more time consuming, though often allows for a richer image. Also, I'm able to leave a painting for a period of time and come back and work on it again, which is nice.
I guess oils could be a bit more complicated because you have to get used to working with constantly wet paint...also, there are a variety of mediums that are used with oils in order to get the full effect of the paint. Learning those can be a bit challenging.

Painting with oils should be easier because of the long drying time. It is easier to make changes, blend colors, etc. Acrylics are quick-drying and not as easy to blend.

I find that painting with oils is easier. It spreads easier. Sometimes acrylics lump up. But acrylics are prettier because they're shinier.

there about the same. But in the long run acrylics last longer. After so many years oils start cracking.

In a way oils are easier cuz the drying process is longer..it also depends on the type of pigment you are using.....there are pigments that dries faster that others.

Acrylic paint dries faster but if I am not mistaken Winsor & Newton sale a a Slow dries liquid.

Qualty wise...they both have their unique personalities and both look great. Its a matter of test and trial.....some people cannot stand using the paint thinner (Odorless Turpenoid).

Try both and let me know which one did you liked better.

I don't know, but I'm a massage therapist, and massaging with oils is a lot easier than massaging with acrylics.
Seriously, massaging with acrylics is a lot easier because they are water-soluable. You can mix them and clean them up with water. Oil paints, I don't know how what medium you use to mix shades with, I assume it's oil. You have to clean it up with turpentine. My vote is for acrylics.

I like acryllics. Because I am a wonderful but messy painter and it cleans up nicer. Plus I can still have nice nails. I just use soap and water and my nails don't need paint thinner. But, that's what happens when you have vanity mixed with an artist.
