There are so many teen pregnancys ages 15-20 , do you think?

that they do it on purpose? carelessness , most of them use the withdraw method , and they are shocked when they find out there prego? Do you think most teens do it on purpose " lets see what happens" sort of thing?

i was talking about this to my boyfriend because i keep seeing girls that i went to school with that were honor students pregnant.

The statistics on teen pregnancy say it's actually lowering, but I find that hard to believe. My mother's a teacher and she sees girls in junior high school pregnant with sometimes their second or third child. It's disgusting and the parents of these kids having babies should be punished severely. Raising children like that should be a crime. A lot of the girls do see pregnancy as a way to feel loved or get attention in school and at home. It's a really primitive and stupid method, but it works...unfortunately.

Some girls do it on purpose because they either think that they are in love with their high school sweetheart, want to get married that young (to brag to their friends), and to have the baby at that time just to have the whole package. Some girls say "let's see what will happen because that's the kind of personality they have and some girls believe that their boyfriend will dump them if they wouldn't give the chance not to wearing a condom. Honor students think that the jocks and other boys from school wouldn't want them but when they find a boy who accepts them as being smart, they trap that accepting boy and produces a child to keep him. A lot of girls want to keep their men which is why they have children. I hope that answered your question.

I became a mommy when I was 18. It was a surprise to find out I was pregnant because shockingly, I was on birth control. My fiance and I dealt with the the way they we should have. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl April 15th, 2004. We left the hospital with our daughter to go to our apartment that was paid for with the money he earned from working. I will say a lot of teens are stupid and do it on purpose, I have a cousin that just turned 14 and is pregnant. This is the second times she's been pregnant. The first time, she miscarried but this one she's having. Don't assume all teen mom's are the same. Some actually, didn't plan on it, stayed with their child's father, didn't end up on welfare, and graduated from high school.

Oh, forgot to mention, my mom and dad have never raised my daughter either...

First of all I had my twins at the age of 18. My are 4 now and they are healthy. No I'm not saying it ok for 13-19 years old be popping out babies. But I know women that are over the age of 30 that dont take care of the children. I worked, finished school, own my own car and house. And yes I did as a single mother but my kids have a father figure in their lives(my fiance). And I happy for my experience. I love my children. Also, my grandmother had my father at 14.

And it's not disgusting it's life.

OK look to the ppl out there are writing all this stuff bad about teen moms....Im a teen mom I juss turned 15 and my daugther is the best thing that happend to me...sure at the time I was scared so bad...I mean like I didnt do it to get noticed I didnt even try to get pregnant...but me and my b/f are gettin married soon...and I feel that not all teen parents are as irresponible as u think they maybe and things are changeing and there really isnt ne thing ppl can do about it...but I must say I love my daughter very much and since I had her my life has only gotten better....I was saved juss last week...I could not b more happy AS A TEEN MOM!

I'am teenager and i have a friend that is a teenage mom she got preggy when she was 14 years of age and the father her child is 19 they love each other a lot maybe they did that sex thing because they wanted to have a strong relationship with the use the child that's why they had sex.I think they did that on purpose.....Cause whatever happens, they can support their child and they are also supported by their parents....That is the thing that is nice when you got pregnant at an early age you've got to be supported by your parents.As to some other girls its just an accident because they wanted the child to be aborted and no one will support them if that baby comes out of the world their lives would be misserable.....As to my friend who is a teenage mom she is living her life to the fullest eventhough she has a child she is being supported by her parents and they are still together with the childs father.....

I think that alot of it has to do with wanting to feel a couple of minutes of pleasure and either aren't responsible enough or just to lazy to put on a condom. Now I do believe that there are teenage girls out there that feel that they have to do it to keep a guy with them. They think that the guy is going to stick around but most of the time he doesn't, then they end up regretting it.

Actually I think they do it out of carelessness They think it camn't happen to them, I know from experience I couldn't believe and accept the reality until I was holdin my baby in my arms at age 16. But I must say I was responsible and I took and sill take care of my responsibiltyand I don't regret any of it.

this is wat it comes down to most 14-20 year old girls say it feel better without a condom and they get preggo my friend who is 17 now was preg at 16 and didnt know it until she went to the doctor and this has str8tnd her up alot and they do it sometimes on purpose they try and try and try until they succed and sometimes they end up with stds but they will never learn even with sex ed classes in hs so they need to learn and only way not to get prego is condom or abstanence
