No it just covers it try to use something cold. Like an ice pack. Basically what a hickey is, is broken blood vessels. So this may help. I have never really had anything work well on me when I got one. But tooth paste seems to cover it up well or use a little make up on your arm. foundation

To start off, stop getting hickeys. Secondly, stop getting hickeys where your mom can see them. But the remedy to get rid of a hickey is TIME.

You don't, a hickey is a wound. It is a bruise on your skin. All you can do is cover it up and wait for it to heal. For the future, just don't do it or allow someone to do it to you. I never understood it as a kid either, it is about the dumbest thing you can do with someone.

you should ice it and rub it in circles until the entire area gets red. It will soon go away with the increased blood flow to the area where the hickey is.

Cover it up. I would like to tell you to smear toothpaste all over it while drinking a glass of milk and doing a handstand, but that will not work. You can't get rid of it. Put a temporary tattoo on it or something.

Cover it up with sleeves, turtlenecks, scarves, makeup, anything. It's harder to do in the summer than winter, but the best thing to do is to cover the skin with clothing.
