well if they dont think that you are "boyfriend material" then do you know what that means??? IT means that they dont know that you are and individual just like them and they are scared of getting hurt....they just dont know that you will end up being too good for those shallow girlies...dont worry!

I believe that a friendship can be a start to a realationship but if they are jus lookin at the fact that your in a wheelchair then they are probably not the kind of women you want in your life. And yes I would get into a realtionship even if he was in a wheelchair 24/7.

That's wrong. They have to stop and think would they leave you if, when you got together you could walk and everything was OK then one day you were in an accident or whatever caused you to be in a wheelchair, after being together for 10 years or however long. Love for the inside not the outside. They need to stop and think one day that might be them, then their left with "just friends". Why do people have to be so judgmental and rude?

I see nothing wrong with having a romantic relationship with a man or a woman in a wheelchair. What matters is the person and the person they are inside, not the chair. If I knew you, I would talk to you and go out with you.

It's hard to say why people R they way they R, we do and say dumb things without sometimes thinking. You being in that chair doesn't make you less than a man, but better to keep up with... (smile) I dated a guy in a chair for 3 years it was great, but he always wanted to use his chair as an excuse when I wanted to be with friends or family he wanted me all day without giving me any space.. Maybe you're looking at the wrong girls for a relationship. try this number to chat be honest about yourself, you can meet people all over the world(704)714-7777

I have some friends in that position and they are very happy. It wouldn't stop me, if I were interested in the person. Many people are not interested in digging into what makes a person tick and not just their outsides. Besides, you aren't in the chair 24/7-you gotta sleep sometimes! AND your chair doesn't define YOU-it is just a tool you use to be mobile.

I if I clicked with the guy and he had a good personality. I would also want him to be independent for the most part, I would help him though if he needed it. Physical appearence is just the outer shell of the true person.

if they get to know your real personality than the wheelchair thing would not be a problem.
Friendship is not a bad thing, it's a solid good start for a real romantic relationship.
And to answer your question, I would.

those women aren't what u need, u need someone that looks beyond the wheelchair. outside appearances don't matter to me as long as they take care of themself.
