1974 super beetle gas mileage?

how many miles to the gallon?

Mine averaged about 25 MPG. Didn't seem to matter how I drove it or where I drove it. City, highway, rural, it all was the same. That was with the standard trans. The "auto stick shift" was around 20 or so.

I have a 1973 super beetle and I get about 30 miles to the gallon when its actually running!

Wow you guy must drive slower than me. I got 22 for three years. Loved that car.
