Thorry Tim! No there was no error mssg., just really slow when logged on, so called the tech with my provider, who led me thru heaps of stuff, and when a message came up about a "bundling" problem, he said it must be a problem with a driver. My son (who is not avail.) set my computer up, and left with me two discs, one says Tohiba Drivers and the other More Drivers. As you can tell, I have NO idea, and am reluctant to hand my lappy over to just anyone, as my son usually takes care of it. Now I can't log on at all, says" no dial tone" Thanks for all the answers, but it seems not to be as serious as I feared, but confusing for a beginner.

What is the exact problem you are having, maybe it is a simple driver that you need to re-install a driver. What type/model of Laptop do you have? What is the exact problem that you are having? What have you done so far or what jobs have being down to your laptop? I am willing to help you out on your problem with your laptop, just explain it a bit on the issue you are having?

Go to the website of the program that you have a problem driver for, they will have an answer for your problem and you'll probably be able to download a new driver from the website.

No, you can usually download the driver form the manufacturer and if they don't have it their are several websites that keep and share old drivers for free.

Well, what driver are we talking about? Who told you there was a problem? What seems to be happening because of the problem?

no - it just means you have some out of date or missing software that should have been included with one of the hardware components.

generally these are free to upgrade or get the latest drivers from the manufacturer of the component. (since basically you have to have bought the hardware component to need it, you've already bought their product)

Probably not. Just connect to the internet and update your drivers!
