very few pay taxes and the ones that do most employers don't pay it in as they are illegal and they pocket it. many operate with fake id's and papers. most are of dead people they forge up with. the catch id soc. sec. has them listed as dead so if they pay into a ssn that is closed. they would know it was stolen. everyone talks about the taxes all the time. the only thing is there never paid in as the employer would get shut down, fines and jail time. by government estimates. over 15 million are illegally in the country. 98 percent use stoen or fake papers and ssn's. the ones who got amnesty was 378,000 to date. in order for 200 billion to be paid into soc. sec. it would take over 10 trillion dollars would have to be made. the u.s. defiecit is 345 billion a year alone. since the creation of soc. sec., not even that amount is in it.

~Nope. Is there some reason it should. Had they not taken the jobs from legals, the wages would have been higher and fully reported so in effect, the 200 billion you claim would most likely represent a net loss to the system of about 375 billion. The thing is, if they've paid into SS, they can collect on their accounts. I suggest we let them keep working until they drop, then shoot them so the deposits we go unclaimed.

Old ppl are being fined right now if they didn't pick a MEDI part D drug plan. This fine will be for the rest of their lives. I find in inhumane that our older American medicare holders are fined for not participating on time, and, someone tries to justify an illegal immigrants criminal presence by saying they pay into Social security. Boo hoo for them. You are very ignorant to social causes of elderly Americans. Why don't you ask those that didn't read the Medicare letter and failed to apply on time what has happened to them. They have to pay into Social Security too with that fine, and, on a fixed income. You have managed to disgust me.

Illegal immigrants to the US cost the country at least $10 billion more than they contribute to the economy. The CIS (Center for Immigration Studies) advises that if amnesty is put into place, these costs to the American economy (and the American taxpayer) will triple. The average illegal immigrant family uses $2,700/year more in services than it pays in taxes. In 2002, this amounted to a $10.4 billion drain on the federal budget. Some of the greatest federal costs included: Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).
and it now has tripled

Not a bit!! Social Security is broke!!! So where is all this money??!! And, even if they paid in 200 TRILLION, it would NOT excuse the fact that they are criminals!
They break our laws by sneaking into our country. They break our laws by using stolen and fake i.d.'s in order to work!!! They drain our welfare system!!! They over burden our prisons and schools!!!!They expose us to many diseases!!! They drive down wages for American workers!!!
It's not JUST about one thing, but a culmination of many!!!!

None of that matters. You are just trying to cloud the issue with a bunch on nonsense. ILLEGALS and still criminals and threats to national security. They break our laws and don't even give it a second thought. They have no place in this country nor are they wanted here. We don't want these low life worthless criminals here so they should go back to the slime hole they climbed out of

Yes, it would help me to understand the magnitude of the situation a little more. I would like to see the proof. What if all the illegals were given their share back in the form of a refund, but only as they were on their way back across the border. Would that help the mexican economy get on track, and help improve the lives of the Mexican people? If it would really help, then I say lets do it.

It would be justification of an unlawful act based on a supposedly positive consequence. If I repeatedly broke into your house would it greatly matter to you if I gave you a $10 dollar check each time?
That analogy is not perfect, few are, but the major point remains the same: If the law is wrong it should not be changed solely on the consequences of the law, but on the laws level of accordance with human rights and as the laws are written. If the laws are fair in design and implementation, which they might not be, what responsibility is it of mine to alter them are ignore them solely to prevent a hypothetical problem?
