non-believers can be cruel and just plain rude, but Christians can't? what's up with that? i'll gladly be persecuted in honor of God, but i won't sit back and let others put down what i know is the truth.

And isn't it just so Christ-like that you bunch every atheist, agnostic, etc. into one tiny little group and pass the same judgment upon them all?

I think some people have greatly misinterpreted the question as well. It's saying that non-Christians tend to assume that all Christians have a big superiority complex and think they're perfect, which some, but not nearly all do. The asker is not saying that Christians do not make mistakes, but merely admitting that they do and wondering why it is not accepted.

But I do believe there is a way of defending your belief in a way that would not be considered rude. If you see one of those comments, simply turn the other cheek, and answer the question in a way that justifies what you believe in. One of the worst things you can do to the non-believer is tell them that you will pray for them and say "God bless." Trust me, I know from experience.

Also, do not be pushy about your faith onto others. It's easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar. Lead by example, don't judge, and just tell them benefits of your beliefs, not the disadvantages of theirs.

The Jews have been stiffnecked interior the OT (sorry I keep forgetting what you call the full series from Genesis to Malachi) - each and every prophet accused them of that. Now they have extremely gotten to the factor the place they suspect their faith and are prepared to stay with their God. i could say they're very humble. extremely i could say that maximum human beings of Christianity is stiff-necked. They carry on the threshold of their gospel with their tongues yet their hearts and strikes are some distance from it. perhaps if that they had long gone via as lots tribulation via fact the Jews have they could take excitement in it a sprint greater.

Total hypocrisy. I'm a Christian and I am not rude but the fact that non-believers are bashing Christians yet always accuse us of being mean are just hypocrites. It is the equivalent of a liberal who says they want to help the environment yet own 5 SUVs.

Christ always said we'd run into troubles no matter where we are. Let Children of the Earth be Children of the Earth and let's just focus on showing them the True Christian Spirit as Lord Jesus taught.

Because so many christians come on here with questions like "how come atheists do this", "why don't they believe what I believe", etc, etc, etc.

If they simply asked a question that doesn't put down others who don't share their beliefs, they wouldn't get attitude in return. In many cases, they reap what they sow.

So, let me get this straight. You think that Christians aren't rude or mean or oppressive at all? I scoff at your remark and say that I've had to deal with the nonsense you say doesn't occur.

I agree with you. We try to be polite answering their questions and they answer our questions with answers that are crude or post questions that are crude. It would be nice if everyone could just give nice answers with no ugly words or those stars depicting ugly words.
