I think you forget that Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are the two richest persons on the planet. You certainly wouldn't say they are against private property, correct?
But lo and behold they help the liberal causes. They donate money to the poor, they help Planned Parenthood and invest in developing birth control medications. They donate more money to the developing nations than probably the US government does and surprise surprise Buffett helped Kerry's campaign with one of the largest donations.
Clearly they seem liberal to me. Are they against property rights? What do you think?
I have a pretty decent job and am quite well off. And I would like to have more wealth. Clearly as you see I have no desire to give up private property rights. However, I am also liberal.
I have a suggestion for you. Before you want to yell something about liberals, why don't you go ahead and find out what the liberals REALLY want? It doesn't really make sense for you to pick a fragment of a news article and use it to push your cause. Trust me, people are not that stupid and you are only hurting your own cause.

well if you go far enough to the right, it can also be considered a conservative idea to oppose private property. but then either direction wraps around to the other eventually.
there is also nothing inherently wrong or right(correct) with the idea of abolishing private property or the idea of ownership. in fact we have many laws that prohibit types of ownership, though most of these are centered around the idea of ownership of a person. and both right or left agree on it...its not really that far of a jump to then extend this concept into other areas.
we have also seen this idea of private property fail...people get driven from their homes, loose their land to developers or investors, etc etc...so perhaps its time to start rethinking it now...i don't know.

Liberals are not necessarily going after most people who own real estate. They are generally suspect of putting large tracts of land in the hands of the few. Those who have land like this fall under two categories - they are rich and influential. The lines between the two are blurred and those who have both grease the wheels of government from all levels. Are we surprised that in this day in age when most people would agree that this country is being overdeveloped eminent domain is being abused? Think about it.

the reason is simple they are opposed to private property rights because they whant every one one to have equal pay equal land which leads to horrible comunism and socialism which means every one shares every one gets payed the same and they think the goverment should be in control which takes away freedom which conpletely obliberate the constitution.
